Our clients include asset managers, financial institutions, and regulators who rely on us to support risk management, compliance, and investment decision-making.

We are seeking a Senior Business Director to lead our commercial strategy, product scaling, and institutional client growth, with full P&L responsibility.

Role & Responsibilities

Market & Client Insight
  • Identify and segment institutional client needs (banks, asset managers, regulators, risk teams).
  • Monitor regulatory, financial, and market trends shaping institutional adoption.

Go-to-Market & Growth
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies for new risk and intelligence products.
  • Drive adoption and scaling across institutional accounts.
  • Establish channel partnerships and alliances that accelerate market penetration.

Product Ownership & Roadmapping
  • Translate institutional requirements into product features and service offerings.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle: validation → launch → scaling.
  • Prioritise data-driven enhancements aligned with client workflows and compliance needs.

Strategic Planning & P&L Management
  • Take full ownership of the business unit P&L.
  • Set and deliver ambitious KPIs (ARR, CAC/LTV, churn, margins).
  • Report performance, risks, and growth opportunities to the board.

Thought Leadership & Advocacy
  • Represent Nodiens at conferences, roundtables, and with regulators.
  • Position Nodiens as a trusted voice on risk, compliance, and Web3 intelligence.

Core Functions
  • Commercial Strategy & Execution – Develop and implement the commercial roadmap, aligning revenue targets, pricing models, and acquisition plans with company objectives.
  • Partnerships & Ecosystem Building – Build strategic partnerships with technology providers, research institutions, and regulatory bodies to expand reach and credibility.
  • Product & Market Alignment – Act as the business owner in product discussions, ensuring client requirements are integrated into product design and roadmap.
  • Revenue & P&L Management – Own revenues and margins, optimising pricing and client lifetime value.
  • Team Leadership & Scaling – Build and mentor a small commercial team (sales, partnerships, marketing), fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Governance & Reporting – Provide regular board-level reporting on commercial performance, pipeline, risks, and opportunities.
  • Representation & Advocacy – Be the face of Nodiens in front of clients, regulators, and industry events.

Must-Have Experience / Skills

  • 7–12 years of senior leadership in B2B data analytics / data intelligence.
  • Proven track record launching or managing data products/services for financial institutions or regulators.
  • Full product ownership experience across lifecycle (ideation → GTM → scaling).
  • Demonstrated P&L responsibility in a growth-stage or established business.
  • Strong expertise in go-to-market strategy and scaling of tech/data products.
  • Exceptional contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

  • Institutional Client Development – Engage directly with senior stakeholders at banks, asset managers, and regulators; lead negotiations and close enterprise-level contracts (to be developed in close collaboration with the Sales Team).
  • B2B sales leadership with institutional financial players or regulators.
  • Understanding of Web3 / crypto ecosystems and their regulatory context.

  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to bridge business, product, and technology.
  • Analytical mindset with fluency in financial and risk metrics.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with executive audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and comfortable with lean teams.
