On September the 5th–6th 2025, Exponential Science’s R&D Director, Marco Javarone, delivered two lectures at the CBER–CDFT–ESF–IP Paris Summer School, held at Columbia University in New York. The summer school brought together leading researchers, practitioners and students to explore the latest developments in finance, technology and digital innovation.

As part of the programme, Marco Javarone delivered a lecture on the Hedera ecosystem and Hashgraph technology, titled ‘Exploring the Hedera Ecosystem and Hashgraph Consensus.’ This session examined the technical foundations of Hedera’s distributed ledger, its consensus mechanism and its growing role in enterprise applications.

Javarone also introduced participants to the complexities of the cryptocurrency space in a session entitled ‘Navigating the Complexity of the Crypto Ecosystem.’ The lecture offered students a structured perspective on the challenges and opportunities within the digital asset landscape and included an introduction to Exponential Science’s platform, Nodiens.

These activities underline Exponential Science’s commitment to advancing both cutting-edge research and global education. By contributing expertise at world-class institutions, the organisation continues to play an active role in shaping the understanding and future of digital technologies.
