On June 3-4 2025, Exponential Science hosted an Educational Bootcamp at H-FARM in Venice, delivering an intensive two-day programme for university students focused on the practical applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLTs) and Hedera.
Day one began with a session featuring Executive Chairman and CEO Paolo Tasca and R&D Director Marco Alberto Javarone, who addressed a full auditorium of students and early-stage innovators. Paolo Tasca introduced the vision and mission underpinning Exponential Science, emphasising its commitment to building open, secure and efficient systems for the public good. Marco Alberto Javarone explored the significance of Network Theory in designing and analysing decentralised systems, offering a conceptual lens through which to understand the dynamics of blockchain and AI-based networks.
On day two, Nikhil Vadgama delivered a session on Hedera and the Hashgraph consensus mechanism, offering students a foundational understanding of what sets Hedera apart in the DLT ecosystem and how it enables fast, secure, and cost-efficient enterprise applications.

Designed as an immersive learning experience, the bootcamp combined hands-on workshops, interactive lectures and visionary talks to provide students with a grounded understanding of the technologies shaping tomorrow’s digital infrastructure. The initiative aimed to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world implementation, while also encouraging entrepreneurial thinking among aspiring founders and technologists.
The bootcamp formed part of Exponential Science’s broader commitment to education and ecosystem development, supporting the next generation of researchers, developers and policy thinkers working at the intersection of emerging technologies. By fostering technical literacy and system-level thinking, the programme contributed to building foundational knowledge in areas critical to the future of digital infrastructure.
