Pangolin is a community-driven, multichain decentralized exchange (DEX) that was initially launched in 2021. As a DEX, Pangolin facilitates the automated, peer-to-peer trading of digital assets through the use of smart contracts, eliminating the need for a central intermediary. The platform is designed to offer a user-friendly experience with fast settlement times and low transaction fees.

Pangolin's core service is providing a platform for token swaps, where users can trade a wide variety of digital assets. In addition to simple swaps, It offers a range of decentralized finance (DeFi) tools, including liquidity pools, yield farming, and staking for its native governance token, PNG.

Originally built on Avalanche, Pangolin has expanded to become a multichain DEX, with deployments on several networks, including a significant integration with Hedera. This integration allows Hedera users to access a robust and established DEX for trading HTS tokens and other digital assets within the Hedera ecosystem.

Value Nature

ValueNature is a South Africa-based organization working to create a new class of nature-based commodity credits. The company's mission is to accelerate the recognition of nature's value by creating a transparent and efficient market for biodiversity and natural carbon credits.

ValueNature's core service is the facilitation of nature-based investment projects. They are actively developing projects across the Global South that are designed to generate both biodiversity and carbon credits. The company's methodology involves using a combination of on-the-ground sensor technologies and remote sensing data to measure and verify the positive impacts of these projects on local ecosystems. The goal is to create a robust and evidence-based system for quantifying and valuing nature, with a commitment to ensuring that 80% of the revenue from the sale of credits goes back to the local custodians of the land.

ValueNature is building its platform on the Hedera Guardian, an open-source toolset for creating and managing digital environmental assets. This allows for the tokenization of their biodiversity and carbon credits, creating a transparent and auditable record of their entire lifecycle.

Transak

Transak is a global Web3 payment provider that builds developer-focused tools to bridge traditional finance with digital assets. The company’s core service is to enable users to seamlessly buy and sell cryptocurrencies directly within any decentralized application (dApp). This is primarily achieved through a simple, embeddable widget or API that developers can integrate into their platforms with just a few lines of code.

By handling the complex backend processes of payment processing, fraud monitoring, and regulatory compliance like KYC/AML, Transak solves a critical onboarding challenge for the Web3 ecosystem. It eliminates the need for users to leave a dApp, register on a centralized exchange, and manually transfer funds, which significantly reduces friction and improves user conversion rates. The platform supports a wide array of local payment methods across more than 150 countries, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and other regional options.

Transak is integrated with the Hedera network. This enables developers building on Hedera to provide their users with a direct and localized on-ramp to purchase HBAR and other Hedera-based tokens.

GETEnergy platform

GetEnergy is a green fintech company operating a B2B distribution platform for renewable electricity. The company’s core mission is to create a smart and cost-efficient marketplace that connects renewable energy generators directly with suppliers and consumers.

The platform functions by acquiring electricity from renewable generators through Power Purchase Agreements. The acquired electricity is then digitized, or "tokenized," on the company's proprietary platform, where each token represents 1 kWh of energy. This process utilizes proven Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and smart contracts to facilitate the sale and settlement of energy transactions. This DLT-based approach aims to reduce electricity costs by removing traditional intermediaries from the value chain.

Key features of the GetEnergy platform include providing users with “fully traceable green certificates" and guaranteeing transparency and faster settlement times for all transactions. The platform also incorporates advanced AI and machine learning models for forecasting services to optimize energy load and imbalance management.

Hedera Coinflip

Hedera Coinflip is a decentralized application (dApp) built on the Hedera network that offers a simple, "double or nothing" style betting game. Users can wager HBAR for a 50/50 chance to double their bet. The platform's core value proposition lies in its commitment to transparency and fairness, which is achieved through its unique use of the Hedera Consensus Service (HCS).

The fairness of each flip is guaranteed by a provably fair mechanism that prevents manipulation by either the player or the platform operator. When a user initiates a flip, a combination of a server-provided seed and a client-provided seed is submitted to the Hedera network via HCS. The immutable and unpredictable consensus timestamp assigned to this transaction by the decentralized network is then used to determine the outcome. Because this timestamp cannot be influenced or known in advance, the result of the coin flip is truly random and publicly verifiable.

A small percentage of each wager contributes to a progressive jackpot, which can be won by players who achieve a specific, consecutive number of wins. This jackpot serves as the platform's primary revenue model while also creating an exciting, high-reward target for dedicated players.
