SEALSQ Corp

SEALSQ is a Swiss-based semiconductor company that specialises in developing secure microcontrollers and implementing post-quantum cryptography. A subsidiary of WISeKey, SEALSQ provides the hardware foundation for securing connected devices in a wide array of industries, including smart energy, automotive, industrial automation, and consumer electronics.

SEALSQ’s product portfolio is centred on providing end-to-end digital security. This includes the VaultIC family of secure elements, which are tamper-resistant microcontrollers offering cryptographic services for authentication and data integrity. They also develop secure ARM platforms and are pioneering post-quantum RISC-V chips to protect against future threats from quantum computing. Beyond the chips themselves, SEALSQ provides Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and provisioning services, allowing for the secure management of a device’s digital identity throughout its lifecycle.

SEALSQ is partnered with Hedera to integrate its quantum-resistant semiconductors directly into the Hedera network's infrastructure. This partnership aims to protect the Hedera ecosystem from the emerging threat of quantum computing by "future-proofing" digital signatures and communication channels. Specifically, SEALSQ's hardware will be used in the SEALCOIN project, a tokenised platform for machine-to-machine (M2M) transactions on Hedera, which is a core component of the DePIN (Decentralised Physical Infrastructure Network) being developed by WISeKey and its subsidiaries.

USDC

Circle's USD Coin (USDC), integrated with the Hedera network, offers a regulated, fiat-backed stablecoin pegged to the US dollar. This collaboration allows USDC to be minted natively on Hedera, leveraging the network's fast settlements (around 3-5 seconds), low transaction fees (typically $0.0001 to $0.001, paid in HBAR), and high scalability.

USDC on Hedera provides a trusted, stable, and reliable bridge for decentralized finance (DeFi) applications and end-users on the Circle and Hedera networks. Circle's increasingly popular suite of developer APIs offers full support for USDC on Hedera, facilitating its use in various applications including both payments and micropayments.

With USDC, enterprises and financial institutions have access to cross-platform liquidity and secure cross-border transactions. It’s currently used to facilitate payments and micropayments within applications such as Calaxy, Dropp, and Scintilla as well as to in support of numerous DeFi, NFT projects, and network bridge applications building on Hedera including SaucerSwap and Hashport.

Chainabuse

Chainabuse is a community-powered scam reporting platform operated by blockchain intelligence company, TRM Labs. It was launched in 2022 to give users a means to report and track fraudulent activity across the crypto ecosystem. The platform's mission is to make the digital economy a safer place by providing a centralized and public forum for sharing information about scams, hacks, and other malicious activities.

The core service of Chainabuse is a free-to-use, multi-chain reporting tool. It allows anyone to submit reports on illicit activities, including malicious crypto addresses, websites, and social media accounts. These reports are made public in a searchable database, creating a valuable resource for the community to proactively check for potential threats before engaging in transactions. By consolidating reports and enabling users to contribute additional information, Chainabuse helps to identify and expose larger fraud networks.

Chainabuse is a founding Hedera partner. Its platform supports the reporting of scams on the Hedera network, allowing users to flag malicious activity involving HBAR or other Hedera-based assets. This provides a critical layer of security for the Hedera community, enabling users to make more informed decisions and helping to protect the ecosystem from bad actors.
