The Managed Guardian Service (MGS) is a SaaS platform built on the open source Hedera Guardian, designed to simplify the creation, management, and verification of digital emissions and carbon offset tokens. It leverages Hedera’s public ledger to ensure that each digital environmental asset, from carbon credits to Renewable Energy Certificate is auditable, traceable, and reproducible, reducing fraud and enhancing sustainability market integrity.

MGS builds on the Guardian’s Policy Workflow Engine and W3C-backed Web3 integrations, offering flexible onboarding (UI and API), real time indexing, analytics, and full lifecycle oversight for tokenised environmental assets. Operated by Envision Blockchain and supported by the Hedera Foundation and Swirlds Labs, MGS enables organisations to streamline carbon accounting, uphold transparent methodologies, and scale climate solutions securely on Hedera’s fast, low energy network.

Meta Carbon

Meta Carbon is a climate-tech company founded dedicated to making carbon offsetting more transparent, efficient, and engaging. Its mission is to simplify carbon management for businesses and individuals, using technology to bridge the gap between climate action and everyday life.

The core of Meta Carbon's service is its software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, which provides a comprehensive suite of tools for carbon project management. These include features for inventory management, real-time reporting, and yield optimization. The platform also offers a range of engagement tools, such as offset certificates, digital badges, and leaderboards, which allow businesses to transparently showcase their sustainability efforts to their customers. A key feature of the platform is its ability to integrate with e-commerce sites, enabling carbon offsetting at the point of sale.

Meta Carbon uses the Hedera Consensus Service (HCS) to record every transaction, measurement, and retirement of carbon credits on the public ledger. This provides a high level of transparency and trust, as all data is immutable and auditable.

Gaimin Group

Gaimin is a Swiss-based company founded in 2018. Its vision is to create the world's most powerful decentralised supercomputer by harnessing the collective power of the gaming community.

Gaimin's core product is a free-to-download PC application that runs in the background, detecting when a user's computer is idle and then utilizing its processing power for various tasks, such as AI model training, video rendering, and blockchain computations. In return for contributing their resources, gamers are rewarded with Gaimin's native cryptocurrency, GMRX. This creates a passive income stream for gamers and provides a cost-effective solution for businesses in need of high-performance computing. The Gaimin platform also serves as a game launcher and a hub for Web3 gaming, with an integrated marketplace for NFTs and other digital assets.

Gaimin uses the Hedera network to tokenise in-game assets as NFTs, allowing players to have true ownership of their digital items. One of the first games to be integrated with this system is a version of Minecraft called Gaimcraft, where users can create NFTs that are interoperable between the Gaimin marketplace and their Minecraft inventory.

Interwork Alliance

The InterWork Alliance (IWA) is an organization focused on simplifying and standardizing the use of token-powered services for businesses. As an initiative of the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC), the IWA works to create a common language and framework for tokenized assets, which allows different blockchain networks and applications to work together seamlessly.

The alliance's primary mission is to empower organizations to adopt and use token-based distributed services in their day-to-day operations. To achieve this, the IWA has developed several key frameworks, including the Token Taxonomy Framework (TTF), which provides a common set of definitions and standards for tokens of all types. The IWA also has a strong focus on sustainability, with task forces dedicated to creating standards for Voluntary Ecological Markets and Carbon Emission Tokens.

The Hedera network and its ecosystem partners are active members and contributors to the InterWork Alliance. Hedera has collaborated with the IWA on its Sustainability Working Group, and several applications built on Hedera are designed to be compliant with the IWA's standards.
