When a coupon is created, its unique data is hashed and submitted to the Hedera public ledger, generating a "proof of state" with a secure, tamper-proof timestamp.

This on-chain verification allows for real-time authentication at the point of sale, effectively preventing fraudulent redemptions and unauthorized duplication through the creation of a universal, single-use digital asset.
